This is for the Main Campus shuttle stops only. If you are on the first shift and working the UO Commencement ceremony, you can hop on the first shuttle to get to your assigned shuttle stop. You will be told your assigned shuttle stop in advance.
A shuttle stop attendant greets guests, answers questions about which stop to use, and helps load and unload buses safely and efficiently.
They manage the shuttle line, remind guests of important policies (such as clear-bag requirements at all venues), ensure buses fill from front to back, and check for empty seats before departure.
They also coordinate with golf carts to assist guests with mobility needs and help keep shuttles moving smoothly throughout the day.
In addition, MKA shuttle stop volunteers are responsible for making sure drivers receive their lunches by radioing headquarters so lunch bags can be delivered to the drivers.
