GradFest volunteers greet and assist families and guests by answering general questions about commencement, including ceremony times, locations, and shuttle service. They provide friendly, proactive support throughout the event and help create a welcoming, celebratory environment by engaging with guests and assisting with photos.
Early shift volunteers will help set up GradFest, including putting up banners, assisting with event decoration, and setting up phone-charging stations. Late shift volunteers will support event breakdown and help take everything down at the end of the day.
All volunteers may be asked to radio for golf cart assistance when needed to support guests with mobility needs and keep things running smoothly.
Volunteers will receive a reference sheet and schedule details at check-in to help them confidently guide guests.
